Welcome to Woolfox Golf Members

Welcome to Woolfox Golf and Country Club members’ site. This is to keep you, our members, fully informed of what is happening with anything to do with Golf at Woolfox Golf.

You will find the Events Diary, which gives you the FULL list of events for the coming year. You will find a complete list of all competitions, what it is and when are they happening. You will be able to find out about competing against other clubs, lessons with the Pros, occasionally trips to other clubs and sometimes overnight travel to other venues and social events. The latest news will be displayed with pictures of winners of our own internal Stablefords, medals, match play and the teams and results of the Inter Club matches. A pictorial introduction to this year’s Committee Members, so you know who to contact with ideas or compliments and complaints. An important part of the Committee’s job is to run the club in accordance with R&A rules. We do this by having a Handicap Secretary and small Greens Committee who liaise with management to ensure the course is correctly measured and assessed in accordance with England Golf and adopts local rules to make sure your golf runs smoothly. The administration of the committee is run in accordance with its adopted constitution and framework. Its aims are simple, we provide a point of contact with the owners to ensure that members get the very best out of their Golf across all age ranges and provide opportunities to improve, take part and enjoy all the normal activities that a Golf Club community will provide – competitions, fixtures and social activities. At the same time, Captains and members will raise funds for charitable causes. Last year we raised £3000 for St Barnabas Hospice. A great effort. This year we are raising funds for Prostate Cancer. I will keep you up to date with events.
